Today was Malcolm's first day at work. I sit here waiting for him to come home. Tonight is my night off I have did everything to keep busy. Helped Trav with his homework got dinner on and did dishes. We sat down together and watched Bridget Jone's Diary. The movie was alright but Malcolm knows my favorite movie is still Pretty Woman. Most women would be happy their husband is away and they are all alone. But not me, I hate it. Something is missing tonight we sat down at dinner time and Malcolm's chair was empty. I have gotten so used to him being around me all the time I just miss him really bad is all. My mother says how can Malcolm and I stand being around each other all the time. I replied i guess we are different then most people. We both love each other. It is like no love i have ever known. So tonight I listened to a song Malcolm used to sing to me it is called The River by Santana and it goes like this

You are my river..keep on flowing through... filling my life...with all of you..You are the freedom I've been searching for..oh how i love you just for who you are..there will be hard times everyone must go through testing his love just to see if it's true.. but the hard times will come....But they all pass away I have seen the light In my life today...That is why i love you..Just for who you are....

You are my river

Malcolm will be home in 45 minutes ....... I sure will be glad .... I have coffee ready to go for him all i have to do is click the start button. All i can say is I sure do miss him...........

Just anothe rpic to show all exactly how very green and beatiful Victoria truly is...As you can see I am very very proud of my hometown.....I have been all across canada and there is no other city that comes close to it in colour and beauty....

and voila!!!!! it was just as denise said. The battery was dead!!!...she is soo smart sometimes it scares me. The new battery is in my old car and it started like a charm. Denise couldnt wait at home for long....i was walking around walmart when I spotted her coming around a corner. She missed me and all i can say is that i sure did miss her as well.We waited and then came straight home for morning coffee and toast which we delayed today to get the battery replaced.sheesh if we miss each other after only an hour what is it going to be like when i start work on monday....hahahahah....I am sure we will manage......lol......later

news flash!!!!!!..........after a long time searching it appears i finally have landed a job.Although it is not the wage i wanted,it is still in the baking profession with good prospects of wage advancement.I have to go to orientation tomorrow(Sunday) at 11 am.They want me to start my first shift At 2 am monday morning i believe. For most people this would be an ungodly hour to work.Little do many of these people realize that I have worked this shift for almost thirty years. And what really strikes people odd is that i love this shift. It leaves the whole day open for appointments, shopping etc.Denise and I are looking forward to the extra cash.We have plans on redorating our home with new furniture over the next year, starting with our bedroom.I have to shave off my goatee, and take out my two ear rings. Its not a big deal though as I have only had the goatee for just over two years and as for the ear rings i can always put them back in after work. The big problem seems to be My old car which is the one i will be driving to work.As luck would have it it sat so long without being used that i think the battery died.Or at least I hope it is only the battery and not something else.I am taking it to Walmart tomorrow to get a new one anyway and we will see then.I hope!!With me working Travis will have to become more independant and able to get himself ready in the morning. He needs to be ready when denise gets home at 7:30 am to drive him to school.Darylene will have to walk to school at 7:00 am.Hopefully all will work out for us.denise wants this to work as do i however she has also said that she likes the idea for another year or so of being home and being mr. mom.So like i said we will give it a try and see what happens......stay tuned.....lol

Cupcake,

I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for all you do for us. You are my everything. You care for me in all the ways I want and need so much. I can't imagine my life without you. I look forward to coming home from work and getting a big teddy bear hug. I love when you read poems to me and sing me to sleep each day.

I was just looking at some of our vacation pics and realized how very green and beautiful Victoria BC is.This a pic of the sunken gardens at BUtchart gardens. The amazing thing is that most of Victoria looked this colourful.Could it be because I live in an area that is very bland compared to this?LOL....Hanford tends to be flat, which of course is logical considering the san Joaquin Valley is The worlds bread basket. It would be very hard to grow the variety of fruits and vegetables that are grown here. The big crop in Victoria is "tourists!">...lol

Denise and Malcolm Posted by Picasa

for those of you wondering by the way,Denise's posts tend to be in pink and mine are in blue.

I finally finished my 30 c.e.u.'s on ADHD. And I mailed off to renew my nursing license for another 2 years. I am looking forward to the kids going back to school on Monday. Tonight Malcolm is making us Pierogies for dinner. Darylene won't be here for dinner tonight she is going out to dinner and a movie with her boyfriend Bradley for her Birthday. Travis found out today who his new teacher is for this year and basically all the same kids from his class from last year are in his class this year. So Trav is really happy about this..... I better get off this puter now and get some sleep for work tonight. It was a full moon last night, hope it's not tonight.

Well a little update on my views towards something called current_ tv.I havew spent the past three weeks watching this network and for the life of me i am not able to comprehend the reasoning of al gore and his minions as to where any semblance of journalistic endeavour is evident.Basically a set up similar to MTV except YOU the audience send in your home video.Perhaps I am being overly judgmental but to delete a program with worldwide newscasts such as newsworld international makes no sense to me.The higher ups at current say there are already too many "news"channels.I beg to differ as i found NWI far superior to anyhting else that is produced in the USA.Too see different viewpoints of actual world events from around the world i believe opens up our eyes and all eyes to this planet we live on.Now,compare that to repetitive stories about a guy on his skateboard,a bmx racer, japanese suicide clubs and oh yeah constant ramblings on by Deepak Chopra, doesnt seem relevant in this day and age of people wanting to know right now what in hell is going on the world.

well this is my first attempt at blogging, and all I can think to write about is the weather here in the san joaquin valley. We just broke the record today at 21 days of temps hitting triple digits.actually i think we hit triple digits 31 out of the last 32 days.Being from Victoria bc I am not quite used to it.Tomorrow and the next few days however relief(if it can be called that)is on the way as the remps are supposed to be 99,98,97,96 and 95.....hope so.I never ever thought i would be happy to temps in the 90's as cool....lol...Not much else to say at the moment but I have many opinions on things and I will be posting them in the future....i love a good tough debate
